The SMARTScan program is used for counting Physical Inventory by scanning the SKU, accumulating physical counts and locations. The Handheld display looks like this:
When completed the Handheld device is cradled to upload the scanned data directly to the Inventory Reconciliation program where the “Quantity” field is populated. Multiple Handheld devices can be staged to accumulate quantities of like products.
This Inventory Reconciliation program has many options and can be used with the Handheld scanner, a laptop with scanner attached, tablet with scanner attached, quantities filled in an Excel spreadsheet and more.
